An Invitation – FOLLOW begins this Monday or Tuesday at The Chapel

Howdy, Ags!

This is true: Our world needs solid, service-oriented leaders.

We believe: Effective leading begins with courageous following.

Hear me out.

FOLLOW helps students grow their character and skills as they navigate the collegiate setting.

FOLLOW is designed for all freshmen, solid for all sophomores, and ideal for juniors who are looking for leadership roles in student organizations during their senior year. Of course, seniors and grad students are also welcome.

While FOLLOW is hosted by The Chapel, participation is open to all TAMU and Blinn College students. Young adult non-students are also welcome here. Parts of FOLLOW are like Freshmen Leadership Organizations (FLOs); parts are not.

FOLLOW is six, one-hour sessions.

FOLLOW starts either this Monday at 7pm or Tuesday at 7pm, based on responses by midnight Sunday, March 3rd.

FOLLOW includes some social aspects, some hacks on college life, the possibility of a group service event, and guided reflective activities to help us learn more about ourselves and our unique strengths and giftings.

FOLLOW is not worship or Bible study, but is rooted in a scriptural understanding of ourselves from God’s perspective and following Jesus as his 21st century disciples. As we learn to follow well, we’ll learn to lead ourselves and others well.

FOLLOW starts this coming Monday or Tuesday evening, based on responses. Please respond yes, no, or otherwise to this invitation midnight Sunday. We’ll announce the meeting time first thing Monday morning.
