Join our conversation group as we study one of the Apostle Paul’s most powerful letters to the Church! Studying the Bible is a great way to learn English, even if you are not a Christian.

WEDNESDAYS (beginning Jan. 16)

“American English Grammar & Syntax”

This class will focus on formal English grammar mechanics, and it will include some writing assignments, too. Some materials may be Christian-based.

“Cooking Class”

Join Lydia in this cultural exchange as we learn the vocabulary and skills necessary to cook American dishes, as well as foods from other countries. The more people we have, the more cuisines we can try!

THURSDAYS (beginning January 17)

10:30-11:45 a.m., led by Mary Beth

Students will have a chance to do some of each in this class; some materials may be Christian-based.

FRIDAYS (beginning January 18)

“The Conversation Café” 4:15-5:30 p.m.

Come and enjoy snacks, drinks, and English conversation with native speakers! We will play games, go on field trips around town, and have topical discussions in small groups. This is an excellent chance for you to practice English conversation in a relaxed, non-classroom setting.

In addition to these classes, we have two special friendship events each semester. We will keep you informed, by e-mail, about the details for those!

All classes meet at:
